The design concept of the Wehman Field Camra is to provide a rigid, light weight camera that, like a Jeep, invites the kind of treatment that you would accord a power tool. Simple drops and falls can be repaired with a pair of pliers. With the Plexi ground glass in place there is not much in the way of damage that can terminate a shoot.
It has the backpacker in mind, and is at home in a landscape environment. But if you are working in an urban setting, (out of your car) with super wide lenses and extreme movements, you would be better served with a monorail and bag bellows.
